Louis, MO. This is an on-site position with travel.

Job Details

Job Duties :

  • Prepare designs, specifications and drawings for the repair and replacement / upgrade of building electrical and / or mechanical systems and other related systems / components.
  • Create and Manage RFPs
  • Lead Project Team and sub-contractors to ensure that projects are completed within established goals for quality, timeliness, budget, profitability, safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and organize project management activities reviewing and updating the budget, preparing and updating a project schedule, and establishing project communications, standards and files.
  • Perform analysis and evaluations of existing electrical and building systems
  • Maintain detailed records on installation, cabling, UPS, HVAC, fire, generators, security and mechanical systems
  • Ensure that established goals for quality, timeliness, budget, profitability, safety and customer satisfaction

Must Haves :

  • BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or other related field
  • 3+ years applicable work experience in data center, pharmaceutical, hospital or other mission critical industries.
  • Candidate must be technically proficient in planning and scheduling, and exhibit excellent organizational skills.
  • Candidate must possess strong communication skills, the ability to lead coordination meetings and actively facilitate progress in order to achieve scheduled goals.
  • Candidate must have a disciplined approach to managing task assignments. People skills, good judgment, and flexibility are critical to this position.
  • Knowledge of construction planning, mechanical or electrical systems necessary, building controls, fire systems, security systems;

experience in these areas a plus.

  • Candidate will be able to work cooperatively with internal administration groups, and to deal directly with customers and contractors to reach mutually acceptable terms and conditions.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project and Auto Cad desired.
  • Travel as needed to meet client / project requirements.
