Our HVAC Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in maintaining our buildings and equipment, ensuring a safe and well-functioning environment.

Responsibilities
- Inspects and performs HVAC equipment repairs and replacements.
- Completes building preventive maintenance including lighting and plumbing.
- Paints areas of the building.
- Completes preventive maintenance and repairs of heating and air conditioning systems.
- Performs electrical wiring.
- Makes any necessary repairs when needed.
- Repairs and inspects boilers, pumps, and valves.
- Regularly visits Outpatient offices for maintenance needs.
- Performs monthly environmental rounds.
- Completes preventive maintenance record keeping monthly.
- The full aspect of remodeling : hanging and finishing drywall; painting; ceiling replacement.
- Drives Gateway vehicles, as necessary.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
- Ability to maintain and repair HVAC systems.
- Skilled at using light hand tools.
- Knowledgeable and skilled at doing general building repairs to walls, etc.
Requirements :
- High School diploma or GED
- HVAC equipment operation experience
Preferred Requirements
- Five years of building maintenance experience.
- Trade School.
Additional Requirement
- Pass a PA Criminal Background Check.
- Obtain Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances.
- Pass Drug Screen.
- TB test.
- Must have a valid driving license and a favorable driving record.
Work Conditions
- Exposure to noise and inclement weather.
- Significant physical demands include the lifting of 50 pounds or more using body mechanics safety techniques.
- Mental demands include quick decisions and responses in emergencies and adherence to a schedule that is frequently interrupted.
- Climbing ladders and working on rooftops when necessary.
