The Warehouse Associate (Shipping & Receiving Administrator I) is primarily responsible for administrative and light industrial duties related to receiving, shipping, moving, or preparing boxed and palletized product within in a distribution center / warehouse environment.
This is position is set at $17.00 per hour (USD), includes free healthcare (at the Team Member only coverage tier), paid time off (sick and vacation) after 90-days of service, and on-site snacks / drinks during your shift.
SHIFT INFORMATION
The standard shift if 8 : 00 AM PST - 4 : 45 PM PST, Monday through Friday but may include some weekends and mandatory overtime depending on business needs.
When overtime is required, shifts start at 6 : 00 AM PST. Due to holiday demand, all employees will be expected to be available and ready to work on Friday, November 24, Saturday, November 25, and Sunday, November 26.
No time off will be approved or available during this period.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Actively support the company's culture and business mission by always putting people and its customers first.
- Processing of inbound and outbound shipments, including counting boxes, assembling pallets, and / or preparing boxes to meet internal or external requirements (i.
e., labeling, packing lists, size, and weight).
- Pick and pack ecommerce orders per standard operating procedures.
- Perform physical inspection of received inventory shipments.
- Receiving of inventory shipments in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Perform regular inventory cycle counts for bin locations throughout the facility.
- Perform work efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
- Communicate effectively with other Team Members, Supervisors, and Managers.
- Provide other services as needed for the continued successful operation of the warehouse.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in English (must be able to read / write and communicate).
- Must be computer literate and able to perform advanced functions in MS Office (i.e., Microsoft Excel) or Google Sheets.
- Must be able to perform mental math to count carton-packed inventory.
- Must be able to read item SKUs at a distance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds routinely throughout the workday.
- Proven attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work specified shift; including the ability to work overtime and weekend shifts (as needed / scheduled).
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
- Ability to read, understand and follow directions / instructions.
- Ability to work in team environment; can work effectively with others to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- High School diploma / GED or equivalent education.
