About the Role : As our Accounting Manager, you'll manage the general ledger at a detailed level and apply accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepare reports.
You'll collaborate across the finance team to support balance sheet reconciliations and streamline closing and reporting processes.
Your work will have a direct impact on the company's financial success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead monthly account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze monthly financial statements and investigate variances for the CFO.
- Oversee various cost accounting functions, including standard cost monitoring.
- Prepare complex monthly commission reports for account managers.
- Review daily billing for commission issues and adjust as needed.
- Manage TPR product reports and account manager mileage tracking.
- Calculate customer rebates and support year-end financial reviews.
- Gain expertise in Great Plains modules and drive process improvements.
What We're Looking For :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting with 3-5 years of experience.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP, financial statements, and internal controls.
- Strong communicator with the ability to engage with teams across the company.
- Problem solver who thrives on identifying issues and implementing solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Great Plains and SSRS Reporting is a plus.
- Public accounting experience (CPA) preferred.
