Responsibilities :

An RN in this position would be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to homecare patients, the team as a whole covers sections of Essex County, NJ such as;

Orange and Newark as well as some of the surrounding towns.

• Supportsorganizations mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of theirjob with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
• Assessesand evaluates the needs of patients with multiple disease processes and comorbidities and develops an appropriate plan of care
• Documentsall changes in patients condition and updates care plans and outcomes
• Identifiesteaching needs and plans appropriate strategies for individuals and families
• Monitorsquality and appropriateness of services provided
• Establishesand maintains professional working relationship with health care providers and other members of the disciplinary teams in providing patient and family care
• Adheresto agency infection control and safety policies
• Adheresto the organizations policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance

Qualifications :

• RNwith Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred
• 1+year of supervised clinical experience as a registered nurse
• Excellentverbal and written communication skills
• Strongcomputer skills
• Excellentorganizational and interpersonal skills
• Carand valid drivers license
• Working Conditions / Physical Demand : Working indoors and outdoors with clinical equipment and use of phone and computer;
