Salary : $17 / hr. -$ 20 / hr. Based on Experience

Job Summary :

The Construction Helper serves as a spotter for lifts, cleans and prepares construction sites, loads and unloads materials, tools, and equipment, and assists the crew with a variety of physical labor and construction activities. They must be safety-oriented with a strong work-ethic.

Major Duties and Responsibilities :

The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a completelisting and other duties will be assigned based on the positions role within the business unit.

• Helps prevent accidents by serving as a spotter for lifts on the jobsite
• Cleans and prepares construction sites, materials and tools.
• Loads, unloads, and transports materials, tools, and equipment.
• Removes and cleans garbage, spills, debris, and other materials from the job site.
• Assists with construction tasks including using power tools, caulking, and general cleanup.
• Move or position materials and equipment.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using tools.
• Works safely, following all local, state, and federal laws and regulations and codes pertaining to the scope of work.
