The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong product knowledge, sales expertise, customer service focus, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities in the water and wastewater distribution industry.

Compensation : $18..00- $25.00
PRINCIPAL DUTIES :
- Assist outside sales teams with customer interactions and support.
- Use plan-reading software (e.g., STACK) to analyze project blueprints and specifications.
- Prepare detailed take-offs from plans and generate accurate quotes for customers.
- Source quotes, spec sheets, and drawings from vendors.
- Gain knowledge of location-specific area specifications (e.g., MAG specs).
- Perform material take-offs and create pricing lists based on customer requirements.
- Process and refine orders, communicating pricing, shipping details, and other relevant information to customers.
- Input data for total cost calculations using internal systems.
- Organize and file orders according to delivery schedules.
- Contribute to safety protocols and office protection planning.
- Calculate pricing, discounts, and shipping charges for orders.
- Promote additional material sales to customers.
- Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse, and purchasing departments to track and expedite delayed shipments.
- Assist walk-in customers and process orders.
- Direct orders to the warehouse for timely fulfillment and shipment.
- Operate forklifts when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven success in inside sales, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. OR prior experience in Warehouse Managerment or Counter Part Sales.
- Experience with companies in Wastewater and water distribution is a bonus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging and persuading customers effectively.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize leads, follow-ups, and meet sales goals.
- Capable of working collaboratively with team members across departments to achieve business objectives.
- A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
