Engineering Technician
Description :
Job Responsibilities :
- Interacting with customers and determine what needs they might have in terms of distribution design improvements
- The contractor will then go back and design what work needs to be done in proprietary design software (similar to AutoCad)
- Will be responsible for putting that request in the internal systems and then have the work completed in the field.
- About 40% of the time will be meeting with customers and 60% will be back in the office executing designs
Additional Skills & Qualifications :
MUST :
- 2-4 year degree within engineering or engineering technology (EET, MET, CET)
- Critical thinking skills -Ability to present themselves professionally
- Desire to work for a large utility
Nice to Have :
- Any previous distribution design experience
