Sr Electrical (Design) Engineer
Leading developer and manufacturer of complex electro-mechanical instrumentation for the textile industry in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer!
Salary : $100,000-$130,000 Depending on experience

Sr Electrical (Design) Engineer :
Works in the Research and Development of instrumentation including architectural definition, circuit design, and PCB layout.
Requirements
- B.S.E.E. or higher education
- Minimum of at least 7 years experience in design and test of complex systems and circuits
The Sr Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of instrumentation and measurement products consisting of :
Digital circuit design utilizing microcontrollers, digital signal processors, and
programable logic.
Design of interface electronics for motion control, sensors, optical detectors,
illumination, and data communications, including USB and Ethernet
Some Mixed signal and / or analog circuit design including operational amplifier
circuits, active and passive filters, linear and switching power supplies, and A / D
converters
- Defining the architecture of electro-mechanical, electro-optical systems
- Performing component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout
- Executing quick turn prototyping, PCB bring-up, debugging, verification testing,
and performance characterization of new designs
Making recommendations and research on advanced technologies for product
development
Working with a collaborative multi-disciplined engineering team in the design and test of electro-mechanical and electro-optical instrumentation
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 Per Year
