About Us :

Sun Services provides roll off dumpster service for a wide range of industries in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Based out of Beltsville, Maryland, Sun supports contractors and homeowners alike within a 75-mile radius of Washington, DC.

Sun Services specializes in LEED construction projects through responsible material handling and separation, to detailed project documentation.

We are vertically integrated with Sun Recycling, a construction and demolition recycling facility, based in Beltsville, MD to process our customers job site waste.

Minimum Requirements :

A Sun Services Sales Representative must have the following :

  • Proven experience in sales
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in the construction or waste management industry is preferred

About the position :

A Sun Services Sales Representative is responsible for the following :

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase revenue.
  • Identify and target potential clients in the construction industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of dumpsters.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands :

Individuals in this role must have the consistent ability to :

  • Use of electronic devices for a significant portion o f the workday
  • Typical setting for this role is o utside s ales
  • Push, pull, lift objects less than 30 lbs.
