Hi Greetings from Starkflow ! We are looking for a Functional Tester - Plano Texas. Description : We are seeking a Functional Engineer to join the Connected Technologies Platform team within Toyota Motor North America.
This team focuses on enhancing user interfaces for dealership websites, web applications, and car applications. The ideal candidate will primarily perform manual and functional testing, with some automation testing responsibilities.
Responsibilities : Devise End-to-End integration tests and validate multiple systems under AWS Infrastructure. Build automated test suites for Web, Mobile App, and API testing using tools like PostMan, RestAssured.
Test Microservices utilizing REST and gRPC protocols, including Telematics Control Units and related Server integrations.
Apply automotive domain knowledge to test automotive Connected Services. Prepare and articulate various test methods & approaches to validate service layer applications.
Analyze specifications, flows, epics, user stories, wireframes, and test criteria to create detailed Test Cases. Prepare test plans and execute scripted and ad-hoc tests.
Maintain the integrity of test cases in JIRA and update backend databases as necessary. Provide timely updates on issue resolution progress via JIRA.
Support defect prioritization, retesting, and closure. Assist in joint test events with Product Owners and program test events (functional testing).
Generate metrics and graphs for test case execution and defect management. Review and contribute to test plans, schedules, release plans, and test cases.
Support PROD deployment and drive tests. Qualifications : Strong functional testing expertise, particularly in Web, Mobile App, API, and E2E integration testing within AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
Hands-on experience in Automotive testing, including Test benches with Telematics Control Units, Radios, and related Server integrations.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with Agile / Scrum teams, developers, managers, and stakeholders.
