DutiesThe TA primary responsibilities are to : 1- run weekly 2-hour tutorial; 2- mark group projects (includes managing grades on Quercus);
3- help with marking of final exam; 4- attend meetings with instructor; 5 - Attend certain lectures including judging of final presentations in final lecture period Minimum Qualifications 1) Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering program, with specific background in Human Factors Engineering (HFE) and User-Centred Design (UCD) methods2) 3 months of experience applying human factors and ergonomics topics in real-world settings Preferred Qualifications 1) Masters degree in Industrial Engineering program, with specific background in Human Factors Engineering (HFE) and User-Centred Design (UCD) methods 2) 12+ months of experience applying human factors and ergonomics topics in real-world settings3) Experience running tutorial sessions and coaching students on assignment and presentation preparation.
Must be available for the entire length of contract. Must be available to attend and lead tutorials on Mondays from 3-5 pm ET.
Relevant CriterionPrevious experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience in respect of this posted position.
