Neurotech Pharmaceuticals is an innovative biopharmaceutical company located in Cumberland, RI, within the realm of Greater Boston’s vast biotechnology landscape.
Since our inception more than 20 years ago, we have been developing a proprietary biological drug device combination technology for treatment of a variety of retinal disorders.
Our most advanced program is developing a treatment for the orphan disease Macular Telangiectasia Type 2 (MacTel). Our Encapsulated Cell Technology (ECT) platform is designed to deliver a genetically modified neuroprotective factor to slow the progression of this chronic retinal disease.
We are seeking an Associate Director / Director of HCP Marketing , who will play a crucial role in preparing the market for and delivering the successful launch of our asset, NT-501.
Key responsibilities will include executing all HCP marketing initiatives in line with brand strategies and objectives. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Medical, Sales Training and PRC, as well as other internal and external partners.
This position is located in Needham, Massachusetts. This is not a remote or hybrid opportunity.

Job Requirements
- Contribute to the development of the healthcare provider engagement strategy spanning prelaunch, launch through post launch to build a foundation of strong provider relationships and perceptions in support of a successful launch
- Lead the execution of HCP launch tactics for use by the Key Account Managers (KAMS) and develop omni channel programs across the healthcare provider ecosystem from concept through PRC approval
- Develop campaigns by partnering with agency partners to create positioning, messaging, core messages and story flow
- Manage digital channels, including media and performance tracking
- Support the development of brand strategy, including brand planning and positioning development
- Generate the insights plan and support MH1 research with key HCP stakeholders including regularly engaging a commercial advisory board to inform strategy
- Maintain strong partnership with Medical Affairs field team and eventually Sales, for provider engagement and field insights and market development execution
- Plan and execute successful presence at key congresses in partnership with Medical Affairs
- Lead the Marketing Advisory Board (MAB) and integrate insights into HCP plans
- Collaborate with Sales and Sales Training to develop guidance to train the Key Account Managers (KAMS) on promotional tool utilization
- Foster relationships with Legal, Medical and Regulatory to champion material through the PRC process
- Develop and manage program budgets, vendor contracts and manage projects to the agreed upon timelines, budgets, and scopes
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required .
- 7+ years of product marketing experience required .
- Minimum 5 years of Pharmaceutical Marketing or Promotions, or relevant commercial experience including Sales, Marketing or Market Access.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated proactive, creative and entrepreneurial approach
- Launch experience for rare indications and ophthalmology experience preferred
- Experience developing, implementing, and working on successful multichannel campaigns
- Highly curious and analytical mind, with strong ability to synthesize, glean insight and propose direction from market and scientific data;
demonstrated ability to build successful and innovative strategy
Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive business results in a heavily matrixed, fast-paced environment;
demonstrated success in partnering with the Medical Affairs and Sales organizations
Outstanding project and budget management skills and experience managing multiple vendors, marketing partners and agency partners
