Description : We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team in Poulsbo, WA. This full-time position is available at a high school and involves working directly with 27 students in a resource room setting.
Responsibilities :
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special education needs in a resource room setting.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and success.
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to instructional plans.
Requirements :
- Certification : Valid Special Education Certification required.
- Experience : Previous experience working with high school students in a resource room preferred.
- Skills : Strong munication skills, ability to develop effective IEPs, and mitment to onsite support.
