Caseload : 27 students in a Resource Room

Description : We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team in Poulsbo, WA. This full-time position is available at a high school and involves working directly with 27 students in a resource room setting.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special education needs in a resource room setting.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and success.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to instructional plans.

Requirements :

  • Certification : Valid Special Education Certification required.
  • Experience : Previous experience working with high school students in a resource room preferred.
  • Skills : Strong munication skills, ability to develop effective IEPs, and mitment to onsite support.
