About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technician Job Specialty : CST / Surgical Tech Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day shifts, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week Guaranteed Hours : To be determined Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent acute hospital CST experience (within the last 5 years) License : Not specified Certifications : BLS (AHA) Must-Have : - Recent acute hospital CST experience Job Description : - Assist the physician during surgical procedures by establishing and maintaining a sterile field in the operating room.
- Set up equipment and supplies necessary for surgery. - Scrub in and hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon. - Prepare the patient for transport out of the operating room.
- Clean and maintain the operating room following procedures. - Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. - Possible on-call duties.
- Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility. Please prepare your profile for submission based on the criteria listed.
