Position Overview :
Join Yelm School District as a Special Education Teacher for our Lifeskills program. We need three dedicated professionals to provide full-time support to secondary students (middle and high school) with special needs.
Position Details :
- Start Date : August 27, 2024
- End Date : June 13, 2025
- Hours : 37.5 hours per week
- Onsite : Required
- Caseload : 12-15 students
- Grades : Middle and High School
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement IEPs for students
- Offer direct instruction tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and student progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff
Qualifications :
- Valid certification for Special Education
- Proven experience with IEPs and managing special education caseloads
- Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to student needs
