General Overview

The System Administrator is primarily responsible for supporting our customer-facing and -supporting environments' infrastructure. Some advanced technical experience is necessary, but more importantly, this should be an individual who is eager to learn, highly customer focused, patient, an effective communicator, self-initiating, has a positive attitude, and is able to prioritize and execute tasks in a timely fashion.

Key Responsibilities

• Embodies Metrc's Leadership Principles
• Manage Service Requests, Incidents, and Problems through a ticketing system
• Help ensure day-to-day operations of customer Infrastructure
• Answer inbound service calls as necessary
• Understand PowerShell scripting, automating, monitoring, and alerting
• Advanced troubleshooting and administration of Windows-based applications, Operating Systems (Desktop and Server), and Server Roles (AD DS, DHCP, DNS, DFS, Print Server, File Server, Terminal Server, IIS, etc.)
• Administer and troubleshoot database technologies / software
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of Wi-Fi / Network
• Participate in an after-hours On Call rotation
• May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
