Job Description :
Technology Support Assistant will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to the campus community.
Student employees will assist in delivering technical services during assigned hours and contribute to maintaining and updating technical resources.
Responsibilities :
- Provide assistance with academic platforms (Canvas, WebAdvisor) and self-service tasks
- Perform password resets
- Support students with printing services, including adding funds and providing instructions
- Assist with general tech support tasks (Google Drive usage, adding Wifi, App Stream usage, document conversion)
- Conduct regular checks and maintenance for rooms, computer labs, and laptop carts
- Deliver supplies such as toner and ensure Chromebook and inventory updates
- Assist with event setup, surplus runs, and participate in meet and greets
- Assist technology staff with tasks and calls
Qualifications
Qualifications :
- Students must have in possession of a Federal Work Study award letter for the 2024 / 2025 academic year.
- Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units.
- Students must have a minimum of 2.0 GPA.
- Students must take a current TB test.
- Successfully pass a live scan screening before employment
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills and willingness to assist students and staff.
- Ability to follow directions and carry out the duties as assigned.
