About The Position
Job Title : Staff Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Spinal / General Rehabilitation Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 1st Days, 3x12 Hr Guaranteed Hours : 36.
00 hours per week Experience : Clinical competence and experience with target patient populations specific to this area of employment License : Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications : American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider or an equivalent approved certification required within 90 days of hire Must-Have : - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice - Enrollment in a BSN (or higher nursing degree) program within 15 months of hire, if non-BSN nurse with less than one year of licensed experience Job Description : Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a specified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
- Demonstrates competency in delivery of care to primarily an adult population.- Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and / or the situation.
- Analyzes assessment data to determine the diagnoses or issues.- Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation.
- Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.- Implements the identified plan and evaluates progress toward the attainment of outcomes.
- Pursues knowledge and competence reflecting current nursing practice.- Participates in ongoing educational activities and demonstrates commitment to lifelong learning.
- Assesses and seeks continuous improvement in communication and conflict resolution skills.- Engages with patients, families, and the interprofessional team effectively in various communication formats.
