Advanced Practice Provider - High Risk Cancer Screening

Position Overview :

BayCare Medical Group a physician led healthcare organization specializing in comprehensive cancer care, is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our High-Risk Cancer Screening Program at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL.

The APRN will play a critical role in providing specialized care and support to individuals at high risk for various cancers, including breast, colorectal, lung, and genetic cancers.

This position will focus on early detection and prevention strategies for patients, providing individualized care through screening, education, and counseling.

The ARNP, along with the genetic counselor, when appropriate, will develop a personalized cancer screening and risk factor mitigation plan for each individual and coordinate those services in the BayCare system when possible.

The ARNP will then follow these individuals over time to ensure screening and intervention compliance and to direct them to appropriate services if cancer is detected.

Our ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with patients in-person, virtually and remotely, and coordinating appropriate care .

A strong background in oncology and the ability to function autonomously is required.

This position does not include after hour call responsibilities.
