As a Sales Manager for the North American Automated & Integrated thermal business in the eastern half of North America, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and success.
Your responsibilities will include :
Leadership and Strategy : Lead and manage all aspects of the business, including evaluating and enhancing the current partner network.
Develop and execute strategic plans for channel expansion.
- Relationship Management : Cultivate and own strategic relationships with end users. Be the face of the organization to both internal and external partners.
- Collaboration : Collaborate internally with product management, cross-functional sales teams, marketing, and supply chain to drive success and influence the strategic direction of the Automation Business.
- Customer Engagement : Support demos and proof-of-concepts (both virtual and in the field) to showcase product capabilities.

Provide expert guidance on integrating our cutting-edge sensing systems seamlessly into their industrial processes.

- Core applications include (not limited to) 24 / 7 condition-based monitoring, early fire detection and process control / quality assurance.
- Able to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with clients, attend industry events, and build strong relationships.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with existing clients.
- Collaborate closely with system integration partners to ensure successful project execution.
- Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and market dynamics.
- Monitor and analyze customer projects, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.

To be ready for this role we would love you to have.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in industrial sales, preferably with thermal imaging or sensor technologies.
- Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
- Technical acumen to understand and communicate the value of FLIR sensors and integrated systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for driving impactful solutions.
- Forecasting and pipeline management experience is necessary.
- Solid interpersonal skills able to lead and influence others.
- Project management experience or experience managing complex sales projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of industrial protocols and systems (Modbus, RestAPI, EthernetIP, MQTT, GigE, Etc. & PLC, SCADA, etc.)
- Ability to plan, manage, document and track terrority based plans, projects, and opportunities.
- Experience / Deep understanding of networked devices.
- Experience with industrial end user accounts preferred. (Power Gen / Utility, Heavy MFG, Waste & Recycling, Food and Bev, Automotive, etc.)
- Experience with CRM, ONE NOTE, MS TEAMS preferred.
