• Registered Nurse RN utilizes the nursingprocess in the care of designated Residents administers medications& treatments to residents & documents appropriately onassigned nursing unit
• Registered Nurse RNreports findings of ongoing observations / assessments to thedesignated Charge Nurse Nursing Supervisor & / or UnitManager
• Registered Nurse RN demonstratesknowledge of basic test / lab collection values deliver directresident care consistent with the policies / procedures &Resident Bill of Rights in combination with demonstrated clinicalskills / knowledge
• Registered Nurse RN willidentify / respond timely to patientconcerns / needs
• Registered Nurse RN willdemonstrate effective interpersonal skills necessary to ensureappropriate quality patient care
• Prepareresident assignments considering the category of needs of thepatient & competency of personnel monitor / evaluate the flow ofactivity & delivery of patient care provided (positioningbathing etc.

assure documentation records (ADLs meal intakeetc.) are completed for CNAs

Is punctual and / orprovides proper notification for lateness orabsenteeism

Requirements :

• Graduate of an approved school ofnursing
• Licensed & registered in goodstanding in New York State as an RN
• Experiencewith geriatric patients is desirable but notrequired
• Sincere desire to work with theelderly chronically ill & disabled
• Possessa spirit of cooperation & enthusiasm to create an atmosphereconducive to rehabilitation &growth
• Knowledge of medical social &psychological needs of residents general nursing theory &practice & infection preventionprinciples / methods
• Ability to communicate wellverbally with residents families &staff
• Covid19 vaccinations are encouraged but NOT MANDATED ; we continue to offerCOVID19 vaccination based on eligibility guidance from CDC
