Due to new projects, we are seeking a Java Software Engineers to join our close-knit team. You will be working on the next generation of software applications, from design through development, to testing and implementation.
You will be a technical expert on the development projects, and be tasked with driving the SDLC process, writing technical specs, discovering and analyzing new technologies for use on the projects and consulting with the end users to meet their needs.
Since our applications are utilized in the financial industry, compliance with security protocols and procedures would be another aspect of this role.
As a leader in our industry, you will have the opportunity to work on critical new projects, on a collaborative team of smart people.
You will enjoy a relaxed office environment and work with the newest technologies. W2 only - no C2C or 1099 workers or Visa sponsorship this is a direct hire role.
This position can be 100% remote / work-from-home, but due to payroll laws, you must be in one of the following states : AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, MN, MO, NE, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT, WA, or WI.
Required for this role : 4+ years of back-end Java development, and competency with relational database technologies (SQL Server, T-SQL, PL / SQL) and Web Services.
The ability to create detailed design documents, and with distributed, component-based architecture. Experience working in an Agile or BDD / TDD methodology.
Experience with testing frameworks, such as JUnit or Mockito. Must have experience in as many of the following technologies as possible : Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Integration, Spring Modules, Secure Coding, Web Services, Test Automation, Unit Testing, CI / CD, Cucumber, Groovy, Docker - and preferred experience with Git, Kubernetes, Ansible, NoSQL, Elastic Search.
