We are currently seeking a skilled Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our enthusiastic team in Peoria, IL.
This role is ideal for a driven and compassionate professional eager to contribute to the educational achievements of students by improving their communication abilities.
Responsibilities :
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement effective therapy plans.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize effectiveness.
- Engage in professional development activities and stay updated with the latest research and techniques in speech pathology.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Current Illinois SLP licensure or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to make complex information accessible to non-specialists.
