Responsibilities
Medical Technologist provides professional, competent, safe, appropriate direct patient care in the analysis of samples from patients age newborn and older;
management of all documentation related to testing and resulting, management of communication between the Laboratory and ancillary and off campus sites, both verbal and hardcopy documents.
Maintains a professional, cooperative interaction with all hospital departments, medical staff, and the public in keeping with the mission and philosophy of Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Always demonstrates Service Excellence. Other duties as assigned.

Job Information :
- This opportunity is for a full time night shift 6pm-6am

About Universal Health Services
Qualifications
Florida State licensure or eligible as a Medical Technologist under the provisions of Chapter . Requires licensure in the specialties of Microbiology, Serology / Immunology, Immunohematology, Clinical Chemistry, and / or Hematology based on areas where employed.
Medical Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of current experience.
ASCP certification is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills
BS Degree in Medical Technology preferred, or associate level technologist or technician
Competent Computer skills
