Our client, a stable and growing industry leader, is adding a Sales Manager to their team in Florida . As a sales manager, you will develop B2B / commercial sales strategies, attract new clients, and do new business with existing clients related to the energy and renewables industries.
You will play a key role in relationship building, increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, and qualifying prospects.
This position is region-based and requires 2-3 days per week in the field w / occasional overnight stays.
Here’s what you’ll be doing :
- Present and sell company services to current and prospective clients.
- Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers.
- Leads the development of new business opportunities that support the overall growth strategy.
- Responsible for reviewing and analyzing the results of past campaigns and developing new initiatives and partnerships.
- Work independently of a corporate office in a remote location with little daily supervision.
- Ability to identify new sales opportunities, manage complex sales cycles, and close strategic deals.
- Seek out new prospects, build long-term relationships, and understand their business challenges.
- Conduct extensive phone and email outreach campaigns.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, concepts, practices, and products.
- Work directly with Leadership and Sales to develop a deep understanding of the business metrics and performance.
- Prepare presentations and proposals with the support and guidance of Leadership.
- Assist in preparing any RFPs for work, including preparing overviews, executive summaries, scopes of work, and cost estimates.
- Meet personal and team sales targets.
- Attend meetings, sales events, and training to keep abreast of industry developments.
- Report and provide feedback to Senior Management.
