Certified Radiology Technologist - (RAD Tech)

StartDate : 9 / 30 / 2024 Available Shifts : 8 / 10 / 12 D Pay Rate : $2938.90 - $3386.13

CT / X- Ray Tech needed asapThis is a Day Shift, Friday / Saturday / Sunday, 36 hoursQUALIFICATIONS : Completion of formal Radiologic Technology accredited program.

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography and CT, or equivalent required by state of Oregon.

Licensed in the State of Oregon as Radiologic Technologist / CT Technologist. Current BLS certification. Bilingual and / or English-Spanish speaking preferred.

Ability to work with culturally diverse population desired.Performs diagnostic radiography proceduresCorroborates patient's clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for use by a licensed practitioner.

Prepares patient for procedures; provides instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety.

Operates Computed Tomographic equipment and accessories.Selects appropriate program for the desired protocol.Understands methods and is capable of performing venipunctures.

Evaluates images for technical quality, manipulates display parameters, and provides hard copy records assuring proper identification.

Required Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS :

Completion of formal Radiologic Technology accredited program.

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography and CT, or equivalent required by state of Oregon.

Licensed in the State of Oregon as Radiologic Technologist / CT Technologist.

Current BLS certification.

Bilingual and / or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to work with culturally diverse population desired.
