Technical Support Engineer, Senior

Key Role :

Support the day-to-day remote technical aspects of product operational data to identify diagnostic issues in enough detail to determine if the root cause is hardware or software related.

Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications :

8+ years of experience supporting systems development and maintenance activities across the SDLC life cycle

5+ years of experience working in a technical role in a lab or facility setting, supporting networking and equipment troubleshooting

Experience operating and troubleshooting of networking technologies, including switches, access points, WiFi, Bluetooth, CAT6 ethernet, or fiberoptic

Experience operating and troubleshooting lab or facility equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio systems

Experience troubleshooting software systems that interface with equipment to setup test procedures and facilitate data collection

Ability to conduct briefings to senior level leadership

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field

Additional Qualifications :

Experience with concert or theatre venue operations

Experience with consulting

Experience with the military

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, to interface with non-technical audiences

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;

Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
