Position : Commercial Electrician

23-27 per hour

Overview :

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Commercial Electricians to join our team in Port St. Lucie, FL . As a Commercial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings and facilities.

This is a vital role in ensuring the safety and functionality of the electrical systems in our clients' businesses.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and facilities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout and placement of electrical systems.
• Install and troubleshoot wiring, controls, lighting, and other electrical equipment.
• Inspect and test electrical systems and components to identify and diagnose issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including replacing faulty wiring, switches, outlets, and other components.
• Ensure all work is in compliance with relevant codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training program.
• Current lift certification
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Commercial Electrician.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good physical condition and able to work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience working on commercial construction sites.
• Knowledge of energy management systems and building automation.
• Familiarity with low-voltage systems, such as fire alarms and security systems.
• OSHA certification.

Working Conditions :

Commercial Electricians typically work full-time, with some overtime and weekends as needed. The job may require working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
