The Environmental ServiceTechnician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaningtasks to support the healthcare system and medical mission at theWilmington VA Medical Center.
This role involves the use of hand orlightweight powered cleaning equipment.
KeyResponsibilities :
Perform cleaningtasks in various areas of the medical center.
Utilize hand or lightweight powered cleaning equipment toensure a sanitary environment.
Support thehealthcare systems mission by maintaining cleanliness and hygienestandards.
Adhere to all safety and infectioncontrol protocols.
Work efficiently to completeassigned tasks within the designated timeframe.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a clean andsafe environment for patients staff and visitors.
Qualifications :
Prior experience in environmental services or a relatedfield is preferred.
Ability to operate cleaningequipment safely and effectively.
Strongattention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanlinessstandards.
Good communication and teamworkskills.
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasksincluding standing bending and lifting
