Caseload : 40 students, Middle & High School (Ages 12-18)
Job Description :
ProCare Therapy is actively looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (OT) to work full-time in Simi Valley, CA.
This position involves working with middle and high school students, helping them develop the skills they need to succeed both academically and in life.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of students with a variety of needs.
Key Duties :
- Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40 students
- Perform evaluations and create individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Document all services and maintain accurate records
Requirements :
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment
Schedule :
- Full-Time, 37-40 hours per week
- Start ASAP, with services running through May 30, 2024
Compensation :
$48 - $56 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
