StaffWerk is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Service Workers for an upcoming event in Houston on October 26, 2024.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to a positive dining experience while working in a fast-paced environment.
As a Food Service Worker, you'll be responsible for various tasks that help ensure the smooth operation of our food service areas, emphasizing customer service and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, including cutting vegetables, assembling plates, and portioning items
- Perform cooking tasks, such as grilling and frying, under supervision
- Set up food stations, ensuring all items are well-stocked and presented
- Serve food and beverages to guests, providing excellent customer service
- Manage cash and card transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all food service areas
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Help with inventory management before and after the event
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Food Service Worker or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation methods and food safety guidelines
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work well in a team
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry heavy items
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new tasks
Pay Rate : $17.00 per hour
