Certified Family Nurse Practitioner or PA

We are a small, top-rated private practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico, expanding and looking to add a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to our team.

We offer healthcare services to all age ranges, including in-house phlebotomy, BioTe Hormone Replacement Therapy, Myers Cocktails, and Vitamin Injections.

• Responsibilities : *
• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
• Make professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen in the clinic.
• Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic x-ray and lab tests.
• Prescribe treatments, medications, and non-pharmacologic therapies.
• Document all patient encounters and communications appropriately.
• Manage the provider / patient relationship.
• Receive and resolve patient complaints.
• Involve in education and counseling of individuals, families, and groups.
• Serve as a healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.
• Perform other functions as required.
• Modify assessment techniques according to patients’ condition, culture, age, and stage of development.
• Maintain coding and encounter data standards for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and reimbursement level, including legible documentation.
• Lead and work collaboratively with a team, including nurses and medical assistants, requiring regular communication and collaboration.

• 16-18 patients per day
• Credentials Required : *

Nurse Practitioner :

• Master’s degree in Nursing
• New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license
• ANCC certification required
• DEA license

Physician Assistant :

• Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA Certified Physician Assistant or two (2) years of working experience as a Certified Physician Assistant
• Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners
