POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking a Field Service Technicians based in Kansas City, KS. This position will be responsible for the install and service of a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
HIRING SALARY RANGE : $22 - $30 / hr. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Carry out corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner
- Install dormakaba equipment in commercial buildings
- Maintain accurate service data through diligent and timely use of all service documentation and technical data
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Valid current driver’s license
- Mechanical knowledge, 3+ years of relevant experience
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Physical requirements include ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, frequent standing, stooping, crawling, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, and working overhead
WHAT WE PREFER
- AAADM certification
- 2+ years of experience as an automatic door installer or service technician
