Job Title : Registered Nurse - Emergency

Shift : Night - 3x12 hours, 7 PM - 7 AM
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of one year
License : Current RN License from State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
Certifications : Current Basic Life Support and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
Must-Have : Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program, proficiency in patient care
Job Description :
- Provide nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with both simple and complex health issues.
- Take responsibility for managing a group of assigned patients.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments; track any changes in physician orders.
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and perform minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
- Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary.
- Administer prescribed medications; initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver competent patient care.
- Communicate care plans with patients and their families during the hospital stay and upon discharge.
- Inform patients and families about hospital procedures.
- Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
- Delegate tasks to support staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
