We are in the search for a Controller to join our team in the retail consumer finance industry based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The individual in this role will oversee general ledger accounting, internal controls, standard operating processes, and management reporting and analysis.
The Controller will also lead accounting operations for the primary operating businesses and handle accounting for multiple affiliated corporate entities.
Responsibilities :
- Assisting in the month-end close process and ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger
- Overseeing the management of accounts payable, cash management, and internal financial reporting and analysis
- Implementing and maintaining internal controls and standard operating processes
- Leading the accounting operations for primary operating businesses
- Handling accounting for multiple affiliated corporate entities
- Utilizing accounting software systems for efficient financial management
- Managing the accounts payable and receivable processes
- Overseeing the budget processes and auditing procedures
- Utilizing CRM and Crystal Reports for data management and reporting
- Developing and leading a team, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Must possess at least 7-10+ years of experience in a similar role as a Controller.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel is required.
- Experience with Accounting Software Systems is a necessity - Netsuite preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM is expected.
- Ability to generate Crystal Reports is a must.
- Extensive knowledge of Accounting Functions is required.
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
- Auditing skills are essential.
- Familiarity with Budget Processes is expected.
