A law firm seeks a talented midlevel associate to join their Tax practice in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 5 years of experience in transactional tax matters, representing a diverse clientele, including public and private companies, private funds, and alternative investment vehicles.
Duties :
- Represent clients in tax-related transactions, including fund formations, limited partner investments, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of tax documents and agreements.
- Conduct thorough analyses of tax implications for various transactions.
- Collaborate with clients to develop tailored legal strategies that align with their business objectives.
- Communicate complex tax issues clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage deal processes efficiently while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain organized documentation and records for all transactions.
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a law firm focusing on transactional tax matters.
- Active membership in the California Bar is required.
Education :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.
Certifications :
Valid membership in the California State Bar.
