Vice President of Program Claims
A company is looking for a Vice President, Program Claims to oversee claims managed by third-party administrators in their Specialty Admitted Program Segment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Program Claim Team, ensuring effective claim intake, investigation, evaluation, and settlement processesOversee the performance and compliance of approximately 30 third-party administrator partnersDevelop and implement strategies for continuous improvement and operational efficiency within the claims departmentRequired Qualifications, Training, and EducationBachelor's Degree required;
advanced degree or law degree preferredMinimum of fifteen years of P&C claims handling experience, including complex coverage issues and workers' compensationAt least ten years of people management experienceExpert knowledge of the P&C insurance industry and claims management practicesStrong analytical and negotiation skills
