Overview : We are seeking an in-office Industrial Service Specialist (ISS) who will be responsible for providing exemplary internal sales and support services.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This role will involve handling various tasks related to Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), order processing, invoicing, and customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities :

Customer Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, promptly responding to inquiries via phone and email, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Order and Quote Management : Accurately enter and manage customer orders and quotes, particularly for house accounts, ensuring timely processing and accurate documentation.

Invoicing : Generate and distribute invoices, create payable vouchers, and ensure accuracy in billing details. (not frequent)

Mail and Receivables Processing : Manage incoming mail, process receivables, and assist in billing-related tasks to facilitate smooth operations. (onsite only)

Credit Card Handling : Enter credit card information into the system securely, adhering to payment processing protocols, without processing transactions.

Warehouse Billing : Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate billing for services rendered, maintaining clear records of warehouse-related transactions. (not frequent)

EDI Management : Handle the processing of invoices, adjustments, and other transactions through Electronic Data Interchange systems. (not frequent)

Qualifications :

Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or related roles preferred.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively.

Proficiency in using computer systems and software, particularly in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite.

Familiarity with ERP and EDI systems and processes preferred.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of independent decision-making.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands in a dynamic work environment.
