Human Resources Generalist
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Spanish HR Generalist in Aurora, Illinois. The role primarily involves managing the recruitment process, providing guidance on HR policies, assisting in HR initiatives, and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws.
The HR Generalist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records and assisting with benefits administration.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs, initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
- Conduct investigations and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Administer performance management processes by working with managers on goal setting, editing performance evaluations, and coaching managers and supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files (electronic).
- Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment processes.
- Assist with process improvements and utilizing HRMS to streamline workflows.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be bilingual in Spanish (able to speak, read, and write). Able to translate documents from English to Spanish.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
