Lead Software Engineer
Global retailer (Shelton, CT) is looking for a Lead Software Engineer . This position is on-site 4 days / week.
Seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer focused on developing and implementing process automation solutions. Must have an understanding of software development and proven leadership capabilities to guide a team in delivering automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of software engineers in the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions.
- Coordinate and manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions and vendors deliveries.
- Oversee the development of automation solutions using modern technologies and frameworks.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify opportunities for process automation within the organization, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs.
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for process automation and local application development aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering and 2 years in a lead role .
- Proven experience in developing and implementing process automation solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, PHP .
- Experience with data modeling, architecture using MS SQL , Amazon RDS or Azure SQL.
