Responsibilities of the position

Reporting to the HR VP, the HR Manager will be responsible for the communication and execution of HR programs, policies, processes, and initiatives for our Beaverton, Oregon Site.

Our goal is to introduce core HR programs and initiatives including Employee Engagement Surveys, Performance Rewards, Talent Planning and Talent Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Lead the recruitment process throughout the entire cycle;
  • Manage all administrative tasks related to onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including data into HR information systems and verification for accuracy and compliance;
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy;
  • Provide high-level expertise, advice, and counsel in HR areas, including but not limited to succession planning and talent management, training and development, and employee relations;
  • Manages key HR business process such as benefit management, policy changes, retention initiatives, employee engagement programs, etc.;
  • Manage the development, evaluation, and implementation of various HR policies and procedures for all employees, including the updating of employee handbooks.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or a related field;
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ demonstrable experience in human resources, generalist experience being an asset;
  • Solid general knowledge of employment laws and practices;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Suite;
  • Demonstrates attention to detail;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities;
  • Ability to recognize, deal and manage disputes, disagreements or discord in a fair and positive manner;
  • Serves as a trusted coach or mentor in guiding others through development activities;
  • Experience in handling highly confidential work with discretion;
  • Knowledge of Spanish is an asset;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English.
