Job Summary :
We are seeking a Radiology Technician to join our team! The X-Ray Technician will contribute to our mission of delivering superior healthcare services.
The Orthopedic Health Center is an orthopedic practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through advanced medical technologies and personalized treatment plans.
The Radiology Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist our medical staff in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
This role requires technical expertise in operating x-ray equipment, ensuring accurate imaging, maintaining patient safety, and adhering to all medical and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Get to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connections
- Set up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper results
- Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart
- Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary
- Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with medical charting desired
- Strong attention to detail
