KēSTA I.T. is actively seeking Service Desk and Field Technicians for an immediate6 month contract with our industry leading client (possibility of a permanent role offered at the end of a successful contract).

Role Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic IT Helpdesk / Desktop Support Specialist to join our team, providing comprehensive technical support within a Microsoft Office 365 environment.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving technical challenges, enjoys hands-on work with technology, and is passionate about delivering exceptional user support.

Your day-to-day will involve troubleshooting, systems installations, and ensuring seamless IT operations for our client and their teams.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support within the organization, handling issues related to software, hardware, and networking.
  • Perform installations, imaging, and setup for new systems, ensuring they meet organizational standards and user needs.
  • Manage Moves, Adds, Changes, efficiently adapting systems and setups to evolving business requirements.
  • Facilitate new user setup, including account creation, email configuration, and software installation within the Office 365 suite.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing hands-on support and guidance to users.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation and inventory, ensuring accurate tracking of assets and configurations.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and best practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest IT trends and technologies, especially within the Microsoft ecosystem, to suggest and implement improvements.

Ideal Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role, preferably in a Microsoft Office 365 environment.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications, Windows OS, and desktop / laptop hardware.
  • Experience with system imaging and deployment tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and support to non-technical users.
  • A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and user satisfaction.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified, CompTIA A+) are a plus.
