Cath Lab Tech $3600 Gross WEEKLY PAY, Passaic, NJ

We are hiring Cath Lab Techs to work in an acute care facility in Passaic, NJ. ASAP start available for a 13-week contract.

Shift :

• 7am-3 : 30pm. (8 hr shifts)
• 40Hrs / Week
• 2 call shifts
• 13 week assignment

Compensation

Gross Weekly- $3600.00 (40 Hours Weekly)

• Hourly - $52.20
• Overtime - $78.30
• Blended- $90.00
• Taxed $2088.00
• Stipend- $1512.00
• On Call- $3.00
• Call Back- $8.00

Job Description :

The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for the performance of technical work and related patient care involved in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease and interventional radiology.

Performs radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature requiring attention to sterile technique, close patient observation and specialized radiographic equipment.

Performs diagnostic or / and interventional studies

Responsibilities :

• Competently functions in all roles for procedures performed in the Cath and Vascular Labs within the scope of practice - Circulate, Scrub, and monitor
• Follows through on problems that may compromise patient care by using the appropriate chain of command
• Communicates appropriate information to charge nurse / supervisor / manager in a timely manner
• Initiates immediate and effective emergency treatment for life saving conditions
• Documents accurately and timely according to guidelines
• Ensures supplies and equipment for patient care are readily available and organized in an efficient manner
• Monitors patients post procedures professionally, safely, and according to established guidelines / orders

Qualifications

• Current and valid CV Tech Certification
• Current BLS
• Current ACLS
• PALS
• Minimum one-year previous experience
