Bachelor s Degree in Education or related field. Must obtain Master's degree per NYSED guidelines.
Experience :
No experience is required; however 3-5 years is preferred.
License / Registration / Certification :
- NYS Permanent OR Initial Certification in Special Education preferred;

Requirements
Job Summary :
Plans and provides for appropriate learning experiences for students with disabilities in a variety of educational settings.
The person in this position is responsible for creating a flexible program and learning environment that provides specialized instruction for students with disabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS :
A valid NYS certification in : SPECIAL EDUCATION (Grades 1-6 or 7-12) required
- NYSED Fingerprint Clearance
- Demonstrated ability to work with peers
- Demonstrated ability to work with supervisors
- Ability to motivate and instruct students
- Experience in at least one core content area (preferred)
