This is a remote position.
Prime Response Inc. (PRI) is seeking a part-time, remote Procurement Analyst with proven experience with government Purchase Card Program oversight in support of our long-term Federal customer located in Alexandria, VA.
16-24 hours per week and work hours are relatively flexible during the day shift. This is a fully remote position after initial badging and onboarding.
Duties include but are not limited to :
Assistance in conducting compliance reviews of cardholder transactions
- Provide all services necessary to conduct monthly compliance reviews of purchase card transactions.
- Assist in developing templates, checklists and standard formats for conducting the reviews.
- Each month, in consultation with the Agency Program Coordinator (APC), select individual transactions to review.
- Cardholders will be contacted and information regarding the transaction will be requested.
- Upon receipt the information will be reviewed to determine compliance with current regulations and policies.
- A written report will be provided to the APC documenting the result of each monthly review.
Continuing assistance with purchase card program oversight and general program support
- Provide ongoing support to the agency's purchase card program. This support includes, but is not limited to the following tasks :
- Provide support for any ad hoc compliance reviews beyond the scope of Subtask I reviews
- Provide assistance in updating agency training materials
- Assist in the development and participate in Lunch Time Refresher Trainings every other month
- Assist in the development of agency purchase card policies
- Assist in responding to requests for program information by external groups (ex. OIG, internal control reviews, OMB, GSA)
Requirements
- 3-5 years of government purchase card program experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of Government Purchase Card Program processes
- Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and / or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness or the improvement of management processes and systems
- Experience in using personal computers with Windows-based operating systems. Experience with an email system, office automation programs (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access), SharePoint, and proficiency with the World Wide Web are necessary
- Proficiency in English and have strong written and communication skills
