Job Summary
The Material Handler II is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of materials to required areas.
This role plays a crucial part in supporting manufacturing and assembly processes while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Job Duties
- Perform physical and systematic movements of materials.
- Generate and process work orders using the ERP system.
- Conduct cycle counting as required to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a neat and safe work environment.
- Assist in coordinating and managing the flow of products through manufacturing and assembly as needed.
- Work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Handle chemicals as required, with proper training provided.
- Be available to work overtime as needed to meet business demands.
- Support initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements as identified by management.
- Ensure compliance with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies, and operating procedures.
- Maintain positive and cooperative communication with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors at all levels.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in material handling or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to receive training on chemical handling and ERP systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
