POSITIONSUMMARY : The Clinical Manager is responsible fordirection of clinical services in Women’s Services. Worksclosely with the Director, and Medical Staff leadership to develop,implement, and maintain clinical and educational programs thatenhance the quality of care and achieve a high level of patient andprovider satisfaction.
Requirements
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS :
EDUCATION : Graduate of anaccredited program for Registered Nursing. BSNpreferred.
CERTIFICATION / LICENSES : R. N. with current New Mexico State license. BLS and other certification as applicable to area.
Nationalcertification in area of expertise is a plus.
SKILLS :
Strong clinical and leadership skills and previousmanagement experience including experience in facilitatinginterdisciplinary team collaboration.
Evidence of suchexperience should include :
- Strongnursing knowledge and clinical skills
- Effective communication skills (verbal andwritten)
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to problem solve; ability to appropriatelyconfront issues
- Ability to motivate others asindividuals and as a team
- Ability to plan,organize, direct, and manage the activities of others
- Ability to effectively run meetings and to negotiatedeadlines.
- Ability to communicate with a widevariety of audiences
- Experience in dealingwith physicians on an administrative level and ability to workcollaboratively with medical staff members andleadership
EXPERIENCE : Minimum of 5years experience in clinical role in women’s services orPediatrics. Two years progressive management experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Subject to stressful professionalrelationships. Working hours vary, with flexibility due tounexpected changes in schedule and emergencies.
