We are looking for an Information Security Administrator to assist with the managing, monitoring, and implementing of IT security systems to protect the organization's computer networks from cyber-attacks and other threats and to ensure proper operation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Working with others in IT, develop, execute, and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.
Review monthly vulnerability scans and assess vulnerabilities and priorities working closely with our 3rd party SOC vendor and our internal security team.
Assist with the configuration, troubleshooting, and maintaining of the security infrastructure software and hardware.
1st level of triage for security incidents and notifications from our security systems and our 3rd party SOC, NOC and EDR vendors.
Monitor systems for irregular behavior and assist with the set up preventive measures.
Educate and train staff on information system security best practices as applicable. Help end-users when they need to install or learn about new products and procedures.
Work with external 3rd party security vendors, NOC, SOC, EDR to ensure proper procedures and alerting are in place.
Ability to properly prioritize security work, incidents, and requests.
Good working Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus and IDPS concepts along with access management and Active Directory / Azure Active Directory.
Good understanding of vulnerability programs and patch management.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
An understanding of security best practices, fame works and how to implement them at a business-wide level.
An understanding of IT / GRC programs, methodologies, and frameworks along with ITSM best practices.
Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise.

Qualifications : Required :

Required :

3+ years’ experience in information / cybersecurity security
Network + and / or Security+ or PenTest+ Certifications

Preferred :

Bachelor's degree in business management, computer science, Life Sciences.
